The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)

In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful

The Striking! 1 What is the Calamity? 2 How will you comprehend what the startling calamity is? -- 3 On that day, people will be like scattered moths 4 And the mountains will be like carded wool. 5 Then as for him whose balance (of good deeds) will be heavy, 6 will live a pleasant life, 7 but he whose deeds weigh light in the Balance 8 His dwelling shall be the Abyss. 9 And what could make thee conceive what that [abyss] will be? 10 (It is) a Fire which is extremely hot. 11

True are the words of God the Almighty.
