But what is the matter with the unbelievers, that they strain their glances continuously towards them, 36 towards thee on the right hand and on the left hand in knots? 37 Does every one of them desire to enter the bountiful Paradise? 38 By no means! verily We! We have created them from that which they know. 39 But nay! I call to witness the Lord of the Easts and the Wests, that We have the power 40 to replace them with others better than them: nothing can prevent Us from doing this, 41 So leave them to their vain disputes and amusement till they meet their day (of reckoning) promised them, 42 The Day whereon they will issue from their sepulchres in sudden haste as if they were rushing to a goal-post (fixed for them),- 43 Their eyes humbled, humiliation will cover them. That is the Day which they had been promised. 44
