With power and skill did We construct the Firmament: for it is We Who create the vastness of pace. 47 And We made the earth a base, so how well do We lay out! 48 We created two kinds of all things, so that you will remember. 49 Therefore flee unto God! I am a clear warner from Him to you. 50 And set not up (or worship) any other ilahan (god) along with Allah [Glorified be He (Alone), Exalted above all that they associate as partners with Him]. Verily, I (Muhammad SAW) am a plain warner to you from Him. 51 Even thus no apostle came to those before them but they said: "He is a sorcerer or a mad man." 52 Have they inherited such dealings with the Prophets from their predecessors or are they a rebellious people? 53 So turn away (O Muhammad SAW) from them (Quraish pagans) you are not to be blamed (as you have conveyed Allah's Message). 54 but keep on exhorting them, for exhortation benefits the believers. 55 And I did not create the jinn and mankind except to worship Me. 56 I seek not any provision from them, nor I desire that they should feed Me. 57 For Allah is He Who gives (all) Sustenance,- Lord of Power,- Steadfast (for ever). 58 The wrongdoers will meet the same fate as their predecessors, let them not ask Me to hasten on [the punishment], 59 Therefore woe to those who disbelieve because of their day which they are threatened with. 60
