Now surely, unto Pharaoh's folk [too] came such warnings; 41 but they gave the lie to Our Signs, to all of them. Thereupon We seized them with the seizing of the Most Mighty, the Most Powerful. 42 Are your disbelievers better than they were, or have you been given exemption in the Books? 43 Do they say, "We shall be victorious because we are united?" 44 The group will soon be routed, and will turn their backs to flee. 45 Aye! the Hour is their appointed term, and the Hour shall be far more grievous and far more bitter. 46 Indeed the criminals are astray and insane. 47 The Day they are dragged into the Fire on their faces [it will be said], "Taste the touch of Saqar." 48 BEHOLD, everything have We created in due measure and proportion; 49 And Our command is but one, like a glance of the eye. 50 And certainly We have already destroyed the likes of you, but is there anyone who will mind? 51 All things they do are (recorded) in the books; 52 And every small and great [thing] is inscribed. 53 Lo! the righteous will dwell among gardens and rivers, 54 In a seat of truth (i.e. Paradise), near the Omnipotent King (Allah, the All-Blessed, the Most High, the Owner of Majesty and Honour). 55
