The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
۞ Hallow thou the name of thine Lord, the Most High, 1 Who hath created, and further, given order and proportion; 2 Who determined and guided them, 3 and who brings forth herbage, 4 then made it dry dark, flaky stubble, 5 We shall now make you read (O dear Prophet Mohammed peace and blessings be upon him), so you will not forget. 6 except what Allah wills, surely, He knows all that is (spoken) aloud and what is hidden. 7 We shall make all your tasks easy. 8 Therefore do remind, surely reminding does profit. 9 and he who fears shall remember, 10 But it will be avoided by the wretched, 11 and suffer the heat of the great fire 12 Then therein he shall neither live nor die. 13 He indeed shall be successful who purifies himself, 14 And remembereth the name of his Lord, so prayeth, 15 No; but you prefer the present life, 16 Though the life to come is better and abiding. 17 Verily, [all] this has indeed been [said] in the earlier revelations 18 The Scriptures of Ibrahim (Abraham) and Musa (Moses). 19
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
