In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
Alif. Lam. Mim. 1 Those are the signs of the Wise Book 2 A guide and a mercy for the Muhsinun (good-doers) 3 who are constant in prayer and dispense charity: for it is they, they who in their innermost are certain of the life to come! 4 They are on guidance from their Lord, and will prosper. 5 But among men there are some who spend their time in idle diversions only to lead people astray from the path of God, and without knowledge, hold it up to ridicule: for such there is a humiliating punishment in store. 6 When Our revelations are recited to them, they turn back on their heels out of pride as if they did not hear them or their ears had been sealed off. Warn them of the painful torment. 7 Surely those who believe and do good deeds shall have Gardens of Bliss. 8 to abide therein in accordance with God's true promise: for He alone is almighty, truly wise. 9 He hath created the heavens without supports that ye can see, and hath cast into the earth firm hills, so that it quake not with you; and He hath dispersed therein all kinds of beasts. And We send down water from the sky and We cause (plants) of every goodly kind to grow therein. 10 this is God's creation. Show me then what those besides Him have created! The wrongdoers are in manifest error. 11
