۞ NAY, I call to witness the coming-down in parts [of this Qur'an] 75 And verily, that is indeed a great oath, if you but know. 76 that this is an honorable Quran 77 In a book that is protected 78 Which none shall touch but those who are clean: 79 a sending down from the Lord of all Being. 80 Is it this discourse that ye hold lightly? 81 And have ye made it your livelihood that ye should declare it false? 82 Then why do you not (intervene) when (the soul of a dying person) reaches the throat? 83 And ye are then looking on. 84 and while We are closer to him than you, although you see [Us] not: 85 Then why is it not-- if you are not held under authority-- 86 Cause ye it not to return, if ye say sooth? 87 So if he is one of those who are near-stationed (to Allah), 88 Then is relief, and flowers and Gardens of peace. 89 And if he is of those on the right hand, 90 There will be the salutation by those of the right hand: "Peace on you. 91 But if he (the dying person) be of the denying (of the Resurrection), the erring (away from the Right Path of Islamic Monotheism), 92 He shall have an entertainment of boiling water, 93 He will burn in Hell. 94 Verily, this is indeed the truth of truths! 95 So glorify the name of your Lord, the Great One. 96
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
End of Surah: The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah). Sent down in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')
