▼ 56 The Inevitable
Al-Waaqe'ah 3 of 3
۞ Nay, I swear by the setting of the stars -- 75 And verily that is a mighty oath, if ye but knew! 76 Indeed, it is a noble Qur'an 77 in a hidden Book 78 None may touch it, except with ablution. 79 a sending down from the Lord of all Being. 80 Is it such a Message that ye would hold in light esteem? 81 and make it your daily bread [as it were] to call the truth a lie? 82 Why, then, when [the last breath] comes up to the throat [of a dying man,] 83 the while you are helplessly watching that he is on the verge of death, 84 And We are nearer to it than you, but you do not see-- 85 Then why, if you are not indebted to Us for life, 86 why can you not bring it (the soul) back (to life)? 87 But if he [the dying person] is one of those brought near to God, 88 Then breath of life, and plenty, and a Garden of delight. 89 And if he is of those on the right, - 90 Then (the greeting) "Peace be unto thee" from those on the right hand. 91 But if he was of the deniers [who were] astray, 92 he will be welcomed with boiling water. 93 He will burn in Hell. 94 That indeed is the absolute truth. 95 Therefor (O Muhammad) praise the name of thy Lord, the Tremendous. 96
Almighty Allah's Truth.
