The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
By the sky, (displaying) the Zodiacal Signs; 1 by the promised day, 2 by the Witness and the witnessed, 3 the people of the pit were destroyed 4 Of the fire (kept burning) with fuel, 5 When they were sitting near it 6 and they were witnesses of what they did to the believers 7 And they did not take vengeance on them for aught except that they believed in Allah, the Mighty, the Praised, 8 to whom belongs the Kingdom of the heavens and earth. And Allah is the Witness of all things. 9 Those who persecute the believers, men and women, and then have not repented, there awaits them the chastisement of Gehenna, and there awaits them the chastisement of the burning. 10 Surely (as for) those who believe and do good, they shall have gardens beneath which rivers flow, that is the great achievement. 11 The grip of your Lord is severe indeed! 12 It is He Who creates from the very beginning, and He can restore (life). 13 and He is the All-forgiving, the All-loving, 14 Lord of the Throne, the Glorious, 15 Who does as He pleases. 16 Did the story of the armies reach you? 17 Of Fir'aun (Pharaoh) and Thamud? 18 Nay! The disbelievers (persisted) in denying (Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him) and his Message of Islamic Monotheism). 19 although Allah surrounds them. 20 What is revealed to you is certainly a glorious Quran 21 Inscribed in a tablet preserved. 22
