The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
By the heaven with its impregnable castles; 1 and by the promised Day, 2 And the witness and the witnessed, 3 (Self-)destroyed were the owners of the ditch 4 Fire supplied (abundantly) with fuel, 5 When they were sitting at its edge. 6 And they themselves are witnesses to what they were doing to the Muslims! 7 whom they hate for no other reason than that they believe in God, the Almighty, the One to whom all praise is due, 8 Who, to Whom belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth! And Allah is Witness over everything. 9 Those who persecute the believing men and believing women, and then do not repent, will surely suffer the punishment of Hell, and the torment of burning. 10 Verily, those who believe and do righteous good deeds, for them will be Gardens under which rivers flow (Paradise). That is the great success. 11 Indeed, the seizing of your Lord is severe. 12 Behold, it is He who creates [man] in the first instance, and He [it is who] will bring him forth anew. 13 And He is the Oft-Forgiving, Full of Loving-Kindness, 14 – the Lord of the Glorious Throne, 15 He does what He intends (or wills). 16 Hath there come unto thee the story of the hosts 17 Of Pharaoh and Thamud come to you? 18 But they who disbelieve are in [persistent] denial, 19 Allah encompasses them all from behind. 20 Indeed, this is a Glorious Koran, 21 inscribed on a well-guarded Tablet. 22
