The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
۞ Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 The One Who created, and then made proper. 2 decreed their destinies, and provided them with guidance. 3 It is He who has caused the grass to grow, 4 then made it a blackening wrack. 5 WE SHALL teach thee, and thou wilt not forget [aught of what thou art taught,] 6 Except what Allah, may will, He knows what is apparent and what is hidden. 7 We shall facilitate for you the Easy Way. 8 Therefore advise, if advising is beneficial. 9 He who fears [Allah] will be reminded. 10 But it will be avoided by those most unfortunate ones, 11 He who will be flung to the great Fire 12 Wherein he will neither die nor live. 13 Surely he will succeed who grows in goodness, 14 remembering his Lord's name and praying. 15 But nay, [O men,] you prefer the life of this world, 16 While the Hereafter is better and more enduring. 17 Most surely this is in the earlier scriptures, 18 The Scriptures of Ibrahim (Abraham) and Musa (Moses). 19
