And the trumpet shall be blown, when lo! from their graves they shall hasten on to their Lord. 51 'Woe for us' they will say. 'Who has roused us from our sleepingplace? This is what the Merciful promised; the Messengers have spoken the truth' 52 It is just one scream, and every one of them will be brought together before Us! 53 Today, no soul shall be wronged a thing. You shall not be recompensed except according to your deeds. 54 Verily the Companions of the Garden shall that Day have joy in all that they do; 55 They and their wives are in shades, reclining on thrones. 56 They will have therein fruits (of all kinds) and all that they ask for. 57 (It will be said to them): Salamun (peace be on you), a Word from the Lord (Allah), Most Merciful. 58 [And God will say], "Separate yourselves from the righteous this Day, you criminals. 59 ۞ Children of Adam, did I not make a covenant with you, that you should not worship satan he is surely a clear enemy to you 60 But that ye worship Me? That was the right path. 61 Yet he hath led astray of you a great multitude. Had ye then no sense? 62 "This is the Hell of which ye were (repeatedly) warned! 63 Roast in it now for having disbelieved." 64 Today We set a seal on their mouths, and their hands speak to Us, and their feet bear witness as to what they have been earning. 65 And if We willed, We could have obliterated their eyes, and they would race to [find] the path, and how could they see? 66 And had We willed, We verily could have fixed them in their place, making them powerless to go forward or turn back. 67

When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
