Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful

Did you see him who gives the lie to the Reward and Punishment of the Hereafter? 1 Then such is the (man) who repulses the orphan (with harshness), 2 and urges not the feeding of the needy. 3 So woe to those who pray 4 whose hearts from their prayer are remote 5 Those who (want but) to be seen (of men), 6 and prevent the utensils of assistance. 7

God Almighty has spoken the truth.
