111 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hood (Hood) before The Hijjr Valley (Al-Hijjr)

Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

Alif Lam Ra. These are the verses of the Book that makes (things) manifest. 1 Verily We! We have sent it down, an Arabic Recitation, that haply ye may reflect. 2 In revealing this Quran to you, We tell you the best of the stories of which you were unaware. 3 Call to mind when Joseph said to his father: "My father! I saw (in a dream) eleven stars and the sun and the moon: I saw them prostrating themselves before me." 4 He said, "O my son, do not relate your vision to your brothers or they will contrive against you a plan. Indeed Satan, to man, is a manifest enemy. 5 “And this is how your Lord will choose you and teach you how to interpret events, and will perfect His favours upon you and upon the family of Yaqub, the way He perfected it upon both your forefathers, Ibrahim and Ishaq; indeed your Lord is All Knowing, Wise.” 6
