And assuredly We gave grace unto Musa and Harun. 114 And saved them and their people from great distress, 115 And helped them, so that they became the victors; 116 and We gave them the Manifesting Book, 117 And showed them the right path. 118 and left for them among the later folk 119 Peace be upon Moses and Aaron. 120 As such We recompense the gooddoers. 121 truly they were among Our faithful servants. 122 And verily, llyas was one of the sent ones. 123 When he said unto his folk: Will ye not ward off (evil)? 124 Do you worship Ba`al and abandon the Best Creator. 125 Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your first forefathers?" 126 But they rejected him, and they will certainly be called up (for punishment),- 127 except the sincere worshipers of Allah. 128 We perpetuated his praise in the later generations. 129 "Peace and salutation to such as Elias!" 130 Thus do We reward the good-doers. 131 He was among Our believing worshipers. 132 And Lot too was one of the Messengers. 133 Wherefore We saved him and his entire family 134 Save an old woman among the lingerers. 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 Verily, ye pass by their (sites), by day- 137 And during the night; so do you not have sense? 138
