Observedest thou him who turned away? 33 and gives so little [of himself for the good of his soul,] and so grudgingly? 34 Does he have knowledge of the unseen, so he sees? 35 Has he not been informed of what is in the Scrolls of Moses, 36 And Abraham who paid his debt: 37 That no burdened soul bears another soul’s burden? 38 And that there is not for man except that [good] for which he strives 39 And that his deeds will be seen, 40 and will be fully recompensed for his deeds. 41 that all things in the end shall return to God; 42 That it is He who makes you happy and morose, 43 And that it is He who causes death and gives life 44 That He did create in pairs,- male and female, 45 From the small seed when it is adapted 46 and that it is for Him to grant the second life, 47 It is He who grants people temporary and durable wealth. 48 It is He who is the Lord of Sirius. 49 And that He destroyed the former (tribe of) A'ad, 50 And that Thamud! He left not. 51 And before them, the people of Nooh? Indeed they were more unjust and more rebellious than these! 52 and He overthrew the subverted cities [of Sodom and Gomorrah] 53 So that there covered them that which did cover. 54 Then which of the favors of your Lord do you doubt? 55 This is a warner of the warners of old. 56 The (Judgment) ever approaching draws nigh: 57 There is no one to unveil it apart from God. 58 At this discourse then marvel ye? 59 And you laugh, and do not weep! 60 while you are thoughtless? 61 So prostrate to Allah and worship [Him]. ۩ 62
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
End of Surah: The Stars (Al-Najm). Sent down in Mecca after Absoluteness (Al-Ikhlaas) before He Frowned ('Abasa)
