Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ When the Sky is cleft asunder; 1 And the stars dispersed, 2 when the seas overflow; 3 and the graves are turned inside out, 4 everyone shall know all his deeds, both the earlier and the later. 5 O man! What hath made thee careless concerning thy Lord, the Bountiful, 6 Who created you proportionately and fashioned you 7 and composed thee after what form He would? 8 No indeed; but you cry lies to the Doom; 9 But verily over you (are appointed angels) to protect you,- 10 watching over you 11 Who know what you do. 12 Indeed the virtuous are in serenity. 13 and the wicked shall be in the Blazing Fire. 14 roasting in it on the Day of Recompense 15 And they will not be able to keep away therefrom. 16 And what could make thee conceive what that Judgment Day will be? 17 Again, what will explain to thee what the Day of Judgment is? 18 On that day, no soul will be of any benefit to any other soul. On that day, all affairs will be in the hands of God. 19
