The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace

(I swear) by the snorting chargers (of the warriors), whose hoofs strike against the rocks 1 Then those that produce fire striking, 2 then raid by the dawn, 3 And raise the dust in clouds the while, 4 Penetrating forthwith as one into the midst (of the foe); 5 That man is ungrateful to his Lord 6 And verily to that he is witness. 7 for, verily, to the love of wealth is he most ardently devoted. 8 ۞ Does he not know that on the day when those in the graves are resurrected 9 and the secrets of the hearts are laid bare (and examined)? 10 that on that Day their Sustainer [will show that He] has always been fully aware of them? 11
