It is He, Who has created for you (the sense of) hearing (ears), sight (eyes), and hearts (understanding). Little thanks you give. 78 It is God who has settled you on the earth and before Him you will all be assembled. 79 He is the One who gives life and causes death and He controls the alternation of night and day. Will you not then understand? 80 But nay, they speak as the people of olden times did speak: 81 They say: "Is it that when we are dead and have been reduced to dust and bones, shall we then be raised up again? 82 Our fathers and we have been given such promises before. These are no more than ancient legends." 83 Ask them: "Whose is the earth and those who are in it? Tell us if you know" 84 They will surely say: "Allah's." Say: "Then why do you not take heed?" 85 Say: "Who is it that sustains the seven heavens and is enthroned in His awesome almightiness?" 86 They will say: "God." Say: "Then why do you not obey and fear Him?" 87 Say, "In whose hands lies sovereignty over all things, protecting all, while none can seek protection against Him? Tell me, if you have any knowledge." 88 Thereupon they will say, “Such greatness is only that of Allah”; say, “Then by what magic are you deceived?” 89 Nay, but We brought them the truth and they are truly liars. 90 God has not taken to Himself any son, nor is there any god with Him; for then each god would have taken off that he created and some of them would have risen up over others; glory to be God, beyond that they describe, 91 The All Knowing, of every hidden and the visible – so Supremacy is to Him over their ascribing of partners (to Him). 92
