Iron (Al-Hadeed)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
All that is in the heavens and the earth glorifieth Allah; and He is the Mighty, the Wise. 1 His is the dominion of the heavens and the earth. He gives life and causes death, and He has power over everything. 2 He is the First and the Last, and the Outward as well as the Inward: and He has full knowledge of everything. 3 He it is Who created the heavens and the earth in six days; then He established Himself on the Throne. He knoweth whatsoever plungeth into the earth and whatsoever cometh forth therefrom, and whatsoever descendeth from the heaven and whatsoever ascendeth thereto; and He is with you wheresoever ye be. And Allah is of whatsoever ye work a Beholder. 4 To Him belongs the Kingdom of the heavens and the earth; and unto Him all matters are returned. 5 He causes the night to enter in upon the day, and causes the day to enter in upon the night, and He is Cognizant of what is in the hearts. 6 Believe in Allah and His Messenger and spend (in charity) of that which He has made you successors. Whosoever of you believes and spends shall have a mighty wage. 7 And why do you not believe in Allah while the Messenger invites you to believe in your Lord and He has taken your covenant, if you should [truly] be believers? 8 It is He who sends down splendent revelations to His votary that he may take you out of darkness into light; for surely God is gracious and kind to you. 9 And why should you not spend freely in the cause of God, seeing that God's [alone] is the heritage of the heavens and the earth? Not equal are those of you who spent and fought [in God's cause] before the Victory [and those who did not do so]: they are of a higher rank than those who would spend and fight [only] after it - although God has promised the ultimate good to all [who strive in His cause], and God is aware of what you do. 10
