Man asks, "When I am once dead, shall I be raised to life?" 66 Does man not remember that We created him before when he was nothing? 67 So by your Lord, We shall assemble them and the devils – all of them – and bring them around hell, fallen on their knees. 68 Then We shall carry off from every group those who were most stubborn in their opposition to the Gracious One, 69 and then We shall know well all those most worthy to be cast in Hell. 70 And there is none among you who shall not pass over hell; this is an obligatory affair, binding upon your Lord. (Allah will make everyone pass over the back of hell – on a thin bridge.) 71 Then We shall save those who feared God, but the wrongdoers shall be left there on their knees. 72 And when Our clear revelations are recited unto them, those who disbelieve say unto those who believe: Which of the two parties (yours or ours) is better in position, and more imposing as an army? 73 How many generations of greater prosperity and splendor have We destroyed before them? 74 Say: 'Whosoever is in error, let the All-merciful prolong his term for him! Till, when they see that they were threatened, whether the chastisement, or the Hour, then they shall surely know who is worse in place, and who is weaker in hosts.' 75 Allah increaseth in right guidance those who walk aright, and the good deeds which endure are better in thy Lord's sight for reward, and better for resort. 76 Hast thou seen him who disbelieveth in Our revelations and saith: Assuredly I shall be given wealth and children? 77 Has he penetrated to the Unseen, or has he taken a contract with (Allah) Most Gracious? 78 By no means! We write down what he says, and We will lengthen to him the length of the chastisement 79 And it is We only Who shall inherit what he says (belongs to him), and he will come to Us, alone. 80 And they have taken (for worship) gods other than Allah, to give them power and glory! 81 But nay! [On Judgment Day] these [very objects of adoration] will disavow the worship that was paid to them, and will turn against those [who had worshipped them]! 82
