Elucidated (Fussilat)
54 verses, revealed in Mecca after Forgiver (Ghaafer) before Consultation (Al-Shooraa)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
Ha Mim! 1 This (Qur’an) is sent down from the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. 2 a divine writ, the messages whereof have been clearly spelled out as a discourse in the Arabic tongue for people of [innate] knowledge, 3 one bearing good news and warning. Yet most of them turned away and are not wont to give heed. 4 They say, 'Our hearts are veiled from what thou callest us to, and in our ears is a heaviness, and between us and thee there is a veil; so act; we are acting!' 5 Proclaim (O dear Prophet Mohammed peace and blessings be upon him), “Physically I am a human like you I receive the divine revelation that your God is only One God, therefore be upright towards Him and seek forgiveness from Him”; and woe is to the polytheists. 6 who do not pay Zakah, and who deny the Hereafter. 7 As to those who have faith and do good works, surely theirs shall be a never-ending reward. 8

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
