And indeed, [similar was the case when] We vouchsafed the divine writ unto Moses, and some of his people set their own views against it; and had it not been for a decree that had already gone forth from thy Sustainer, judgment would indeed have been passed on them [then and there]: for, behold, they were in grave doubt, amounting to suspicion, about him [who called them unto God]. 110 Indeed, your Lord will pay each one of them in full for their deeds. He is aware of the things they do. 111 Pursue, then, the right course, as thou hast been bidden [by God,] together with all who, with thee, have turned unto Him; and let none of you behave in an overweening manner: for, verily, He sees all that you do. 112 And incline not to those who do wrong, or the Fire will seize you; and ye have no protectors other than Allah, nor shall ye be helped. 113 And establish your prayer at the two edges of the day and in part of the night. Good deeds will repel evil deeds. That is a remembrance for those who remember. 114 Exercise patience; God does not ignore the reward of those who do good. 115 So why were there not among the generations before you those of enduring discrimination forbidding corruption on earth - except a few of those We saved from among them? But those who wronged pursued what luxury they were given therein, and they were criminals. 116 And thy Lord is not one to destroy cities wrongously while the inhabitants thereof are rectifiers. 117 And had thy Lord willed, He would surely have made mankind of one community, and they will not cease differing. 118 excepting those on whom thy Lord has mercy. To that end He created them, and perfectly is fulfilled the word of thy Lord: 'I shall assuredly fill Gehenna with jinn and men all together.' 119 (Muhammad), We tell you all the stories of the Messengers which will strengthen your heart. In the Quran We have revealed the Truth to you with good advice and reminders for the faithful ones. 120 And say to those who do not believe: "Act according to your ability and way, We are acting (in our way). 121 And wait! Lo! We (too) are waiting. 122 To Allah belongs the unseen in the heavens and in the earth; to Him the matter, in its entirety, shall be returned. Worship Him, and put your trust in Him. Your Lord is not inattentive of the things you do. 123
