Do not those who disbelieve see that the heavens and the earth were closed up, but We have opened them; and We have made of water everything living, will they not then believe? 30 We set firm mountains upon the earth lest it should sway under them, and We placed therein passages for paths so that they might find their way. 31 and We set up the heaven as a roof well-protected; yet still from Our signs they are turning away. 32 It is He who created night and day, the sun and the moon, revolving on its orbit. 33 And We appointed not for any human being before thee immortality; if thou then diest, are they to be immortals? 34 Every soul will know the taste of death. We tempt you with evil and with good as a trial; and to Us you will return. 35 And when those who disbelieve behold thee, they but choose thee out for mockery, (saying): Is this he who maketh mention of your gods? And they would deny all mention of the Beneficent. 36 Man was created of haste. Assuredly I shall show you My signs; so demand not that I make haste. 37 And they say, "When is this promise, if you should be truthful?" 38 If only those who disbelieved knew (the time) when they will not be able to ward off the Fire from their faces, nor from their backs; and they will not be helped. 39 It will come upon them unawares confounding them, and they will not be able to keep it back, nor will they be given respite. 40 Indeed (many) Messengers were mocked before you (O Muhammad SAW), but the scoffers were surrounded by that, whereat they used to mock. 41
