Al-Saaffaat 4 of 5
And We verily gave grace unto Moses and Aaron, 114 and We saved them with their nation from a great distress. 115 And We helped them, so they were the vanquishers. 116 And We vouchsafed unto the twain a Book luminous. 117 And We led the twain on unto the straight path. 118 And We left for them [favorable mention] among later generations: 119 Peace be upon Moses and Aaron. 120 Lo! thus do We reward the good. 121 Verily the twain were of Our bondmen believing. 122 And Elias (El Yaseen) was among the Messengers. 123 when he spoke [thus] to his people: "Will you not remain conscious of God? 124 “What! You worship Baal (an idol) and leave the Best Creator?” – 125 Allah is your Lord and the Lord of your fathers, the ancients' 126 But they belied him, so they will be among the arraigned (in Hell), 127 excepting only [those who were] God's true servants; 128 And We left (this blessing) for him among generations (to come) in later times: 129 "Peace upon Elias." 130 Even so We recompense the good-doers; 131 He was one of Our believing servants. 132 And Lot too was one of the Messengers. 133 We saved him and all his people, 134 Save an old woman among those who stayed behind; 135 and We destroyed the others. 136 You pass by (their habitations) in the morning 137 And at night; will you not then reflect? 138
