Shattering (Al-Infitaar)

19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Snatchers (Al-Naze'aat) before The Splitting (Al-Inshiqaaq)

In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate

۞ When the heaven is cleft asunder, 1 And when the stars fall down. 2 when the seas overflow; 3 And the sepulchres are overturned, 4 Each soul will know what it had sent ahead and what it had left behind. 5 O man! What has deceived you away from your Lord, the Most Beneficent? 6 Who created you proportionately and fashioned you 7 In whatever form He willed, He put you together. 8 Not at all – but rather you deny the establishment of Justice. 9 but you should know that there are angelic guards 10 The honourable recorders. 11 who know all that you do: 12 Surely the pious shall be in bliss, 13 And indeed, the wicked will be in Hellfire. 14 [a fire] which they shall enter on Judgment Day, 15 And will not be removed from it. 16 And what will make you realize what the day of judgment is? 17 Again, what will convey unto thee what the Day of Judgment is! 18 It is the Day when no one shall have the power to do anything for another, and all command shall be Allah's. 19

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
