The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)

In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate

Al-Qari'ah (the striking Hour i.e. the Day of Resurrection), 1 What is the Calamity? 2 How will you comprehend what the startling calamity is? -- 3 On that day, people will be like scattered moths 4 And the mountains will be like carded wool. 5 Then as for him whose balance (of good deeds) will be heavy, 6 shall live in a life which is pleasing, 7 but he whose scales weigh lighter, 8 his head will be in the Plunging 9 And what shall teach thee what is the Pit? 10 A blazing Fire! 11

True are the words of God the Almighty.
