Al-Kahf 12 of 12
Do the unbelievers think they can make My own creatures their protectors against Me? We have prepared Hell for the hospitality of infidels. 102 Say thou: shall I declare unto you the greatest losers in respect of works? 103 Those whose striving goes astray in the present life, while they think that they are working good deeds. 104 Those are they who disbelieve in the revelations of their Lord and in the meeting with Him. Therefor their works are vain, and on the Day of Resurrection We assign no weight to them. 105 That shall be their meed - Hell - for they disbelieved and held My revelations and My apostles in mockery. 106 Lo! those who believe and do good works, theirs are the Gardens of Paradise for welcome, 107 Where they will abide for ever, never wanting a change. 108 Say (O Muhammad SAW to mankind). "If the sea were ink for (writing) the Words of my Lord, surely, the sea would be exhausted before the Words of my Lord would be finished, even if we brought (another sea) like it for its aid." 109 Say (O Muhammad SAW): "I am only a man like you. It has been inspired to me that your Ilah (God) is One Ilah (God i.e. Allah). So whoever hopes for the Meeting with his Lord, let him work righteousness and associate none as a partner in the worship of his Lord." 110
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
