And We verily gave grace unto Moses and Aaron, 114 and We saved them and their people from the awesome calamity [of bondage,] 115 And We helped them, so they were victorious. 116 And We gave them the clear Scripture 117 And showed them the straight path, 118 And We left for them (a goodly remembrance) among generations (to come) in later times; 119 "Peace be upon Moses and Aaron!" 120 This is how We reward the virtuous. 121 They are among Our faithful devotees. 122 And indeed, Elias was from among the messengers, 123 He asked his people: 'Do you not fear (Allah)? 124 "Will you call upon Ba'l (a well- known idol of his nation whom they used to worship) and forsake the Best of creators, 125 God, your Lord, and the Lord of your fathers, the ancients?' 126 But they cried him lies; so they will be among the arraigned, 127 Except the bondmen of Allah sincere. 128 And We left (this blessing) for him among generations (to come) in later times: 129 Peace be unto Elyasin. 130 Verily We! thus We recompense the well-doers. 131 for he was truly one of Our believing servants! 132 And Lut was most surely of the apostles. 133 Recall what time We delivered him and his household, all. 134 Except his wife among those who remained [with the evildoers]. 135 and We destroyed the others. 136 and, verily, [to this day] you pass by the remnants of their dwellings at morning-time 137 And at night. Will ye not therefore reflect? 138
