Say: "I am only a warner, and there is no other god but God, the one, the omnipotent, 65 the Sustainer of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them, the Almighty, the All-Forgiving!" 66 Say: It is a message of importance, 67 from which you turn away. 68 I have no knowledge of the dispute among the angels (concerning their attitude towards Adam). 69 This alone is revealed to me, that I am only a clear warner.' 70 [So mention] when your Lord said to the angels, "Indeed, I am going to create a human being from clay. 71 “So when I have perfected him and breathed into him a spirit from Myself, (you all) fall down before him in prostration.” 72 Thereupon the angels prostrated themselves, all of them together, 73 but not Satan, who was too proud. He became one of those who deny the truth. 74 Said He: "O Iblis! What has kept thee from prostrating thyself before that [being] which I have created with My hands? Art thou too proud [to bow down before another created being,] or art thou of those who think [only] of themselves as high?" 75 He said: "I am better than he. You created me from fire, and him from clay." 76 Allah said: get thee forth therefrom; verily thou art driven away. 77 and My rejection shall be thy due until the Day of Judgment!" 78 Said he, 'My Lord, respite me till the day they shall be raised.' 79 so He said, "You are granted respite 80 Until the day of the time appointed. 81 (Iblis) said: "Then, by Thy power, I will put them all in the wrong, 82 except Your sincere servants among them". 83 He (i.e. Allah) said: “This is the Truth -- and I only speak the Truth -- 84 "That I will certainly fill Hell with thee and those that follow thee,- every one." 85 Say: "No reward do I ask of you for this (Qur'an), nor am I a pretender. 86 “It is not but an advice for the entire world.” 87 and after a while you shall know its news' 88
