The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah)
96 verses, revealed in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ When the great event comes to pass, 1 There is about its happening no lie. 2 (a calamitous Event) that shall turn things upside down: 3 When the earth is shaken with a shock 4 and the mountains are shattered into [countless] shards, 5 So that they become a scattered dust, 6 you shall be divided into three parties, 7 Companions of the Right, what are the Companions of the Right? 8 And there shall be such as will have lost themselves in evil: oh, how [unhappy] will be they who have lost themselves in evil! 9 And the foremost are the foremost, 10 they who were [always] drawn close unto God! 11 In Gardens of Bliss: 12 Many of them will be from the ancient people 13 And a few from the later generations. 14 on lavish couches 15 Reclining on them, facing each other. 16 Immortal youths will serve them 17 With goblets and ewers and a cup of limpid drink. 18 a drink by which their minds will not be clouded nor will it cause drunkenness; 19 with fruits of their own choice 20 and any flesh of fowl that they desire. 21 And companions with big beautiful eyes 22 like the pearls in their shells: 23 as reward for their deeds. 24 They shall not hear therein vain or sinful discourse, 25 Only the saying, "Peace! Peace". 26 The Companions of the Right Hand,- what will be the Companions of the Right Hand? 27 Among thorn-less lote-trees. 28 Among Talh (banana-trees) with fruits piled one above another, 29 And a shade ever-spread. 30 By water flowing constantly, 31 And fruit in plenty 32 never-ending and unforbidden. 33 They shall be on upraised couches, 34 Perfectly We formed them, perfect, 35 And made them virgins, 36 Loving (their husbands only), equal in age. 37 For those on the right. 38

Notes and Instructions
When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
