Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

Hast thou observed him who belieth religion? 1 Who turns away the orphan, 2 and never encourages the feeding of the destitute. 3 So woe to the worshippers 4 whose hearts from their prayer are remote 5 those who want only to be seen and praised, 6 And do not let others ask for small utilities. 7

God Almighty has spoken the truth.
