Thorns (Al-Masad)

5 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Key (Al-Faatehah) before The Rolling (Al-Takweer)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

DOOMED are the hands of him of the glowing countence: and doomed is he! 1 His wealth will not suffice him, neither what he has gained; 2 he shall roast at a Flaming Fire, 3 And his wife also: the firewood carrier; 4 Upon her neck a halter of strongly twisted rope. 5

True are the words of God the Almighty.
