1/2 Hizb 1
< 6 >
< random >
O Children of Israel! call to mind the (special) favour which I bestowed upon you, and fulfil your covenant with Me as I fulfil My Covenant with you, and fear none but Me. 40 And believe in what I have revealed, verifying that which is with you, and be not the first to deny it, neither take a mean price in exchange for My communications; and Me, Me alone should you fear. 41 Do not mix truth with falsehood, or hide the truth when you know it. 42 Be steadfast in prayer, pay the religious tax (zakat) and bow down in worship with those who do the same. 43 ۞ Would you order righteousness on others and forget it yourselves? Yet you recite the Book, have you no sense? 44 Seek help with patience and prayer; this is indeed an exacting discipline, but not to the humble, 45 Who know that they have to meet their Lord, and that it is to Him they are to return. 46
