The people of Noah gave the lie to the Messengers. 105 Behold, their brother Noah said to them: "Will ye not fear (Allah)? 106 Verily I am unto you an apostle trusted. 107 So keep your duty to Allah, and obey me. 108 I ask no recompense of you for it. My reward is due from none but the Lord of all the worlds. 109 So fear Allah and obey me' 110 ۞ They said: "Shall we believe in you, when the meanest (of the people) follow you?" 111 Said he: "And what knowledge could I have as to what they were doing [before they came to me]? 112 It is for my Lord to bring them to book, if you can understand. 113 I will not drive away the believers. 114 I am only a plain warner." 115 They said: "If thou desist not, O Noah! thou shalt be stoned (to death)." 116 He said: "My Lord! Verily, my people have belied me. 117 Then judge between me and them with decisive judgement and save me and those with me of the believers." 118 So We delivered him and those with him, in the Ark filled (with all creatures). 119 Then We drowned the rest afterwards 120 There is certainly a sign in that; but most of them do not believe: 121 And most surely your Lord is the Mighty, the Merciful. 122
