And remember Our servant Job, when he called to his Lord, "Indeed, Satan has touched me with hardship and torment." 41 (The command was given:) "Strike with thy foot: here is (water) wherein to wash, cool and refreshing, and (water) to drink." 42 We restored his family to him with others similar to them, as a blessing from Us and a reminder for men of wisdom. -- 43 "And take in thy hand a little grass, and strike therewith: and break not (thy oath)." Truly We found him full of patience and constancy. How excellent in Our service! ever did he turn (to Us)! 44 And remember thou Our bondmen, Ibrahim and Is-haq and Ya'qub, owners of might and insight. 45 Surely We purified them by a pure quality, the keeping in mind of the (final) abode. 46 And indeed they are, to Us, among the chosen and outstanding. 47 Recall Ismael, Elisha, and Dhulkifl (Ezekiel) who were all virtuous people. 48 This was a remembrance. An excellent retreat awaits the God-fearing 49 They will enter gardens of Eden with their gates open for them. 50 Wherein, reclining, they call for plenteous fruit and cool drink (that is) therein. 51 ۞ having beside them well-matched mates of modest gaze." 52 This it is that ye are promised for the Day of Reckoning. 53 Verily this is Our provision: there will be no ceasing thereof. 54 Yea, such! but - for the wrong-doers will be an evil place of (Final) Return!- 55 Hell! Where they will burn, and worst (indeed) is that place to rest! 56 All of this; so let them taste it, boiling water and pus, 57 And other Penalties of a similar kind, to match them! 58 [And they will say to one another: "Do you see] this crowd of people rushing headlong to join you?" "No welcome to them! Indeed, they are headed for the fire!" 59 But they will say: 'No, it is you that has no welcome. It was you who brought it upon us, an evil place' 60 They say: Our Lord! Whoever did prepare this for us, oh, give him double portion of the Fire! 61 They will say to one another: “But why do we not see those whom we considered him among the wicked? 62 Did we take them as an object of mockery, or have (our) eyes failed to perceive them?" 63 This contending of the inmates of Hell will surely be real. 64

عند قراءة القرآن الملون في وضعية اللغة العربية المرسومة بالأحرف الإنجليزية، قد لا تلاحظ وجود منظومة برمجية مصممة لمطابقة متطلبات علامات الوقف في النص العربي الأصلي. فكما تعلم، يحتوي القرآن على خمسة أنواع رئيسية من علامات الوقف. (1) وقف لازم، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي نقطة وقف. (2) وقف جائز مع الوقف أولى، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال الثلثين. (3) وقف جائز مع تساوي أولوية الوقف والوصل، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال النصف للنصف. (4) وقف جائز مع الوصل أولى، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال الثلث. (5) وقف المجاذبة أو المعانقة حيث يجب الوقف في أي من موضعين قريبين ولكن ليس كلاهما، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة تظهر في أحد الموقعين باحتمال النصف للنصف.
When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
