By the moon, 32 And [by] the night when it departs 33 and the morn when it dawns! 34 hell is certainly the greatest calamity. 35 Warn the men. 36 to whoever of you desires to go forward or lag behind. 37 Every soul shall be pledged for what it has earned, 38 Except the Companions of the Right Hand. 39 In Gardens (Paradise) they will ask one another, 40 about the sinners. 41 [And asking them], "What put you into Saqar?" 42 They shall say, 'We were not of those who prayed, and 43 And we have not been feeding the poor. 44 "And used to dwell on evil matters with those who think evilly." 45 and we gave the lie to the Day of Judgement 46 until certainty came upon us [in death]." 47 Then there will not profit them intercesion of the interceders. 48 Then what is wrong with them (i.e. the disbelievers) that they turn away from (receiving) admonition? 49 as though they were frightened wild asses, 50 Fleeing from a lion? 51 Nay, but everyone of them desireth that he should be given open pages (from Allah). 52 By no means. In fact they do not fear the Hereafter. 53 but this is truly a reminder. 54 Then whoever wills will remember it. 55 But they will not benefit from it unless Allah Himself so wills. He is worthy to be feared; and He is worthy to forgive (those that fear Him). 56
