Surely Ibrahim was an exemplar, obedient to Allah, upright, and he was not of the polytheists. 120 Grateful to Him for His favours; so He chose him and guided him to the path that is straight, 121 And We gave him good in this world, and in the Hereafter he shall be of the righteous. 122 So We have taught thee the inspired (Message), "Follow the ways of Abraham the True in Faith, and he joined not gods with Allah." 123 The Sabbath was ordained only for those who differed about it. On the Day of Resurrection, your Lord will decide the differences that were between them. 124 Call unto the way of thy Lord with wisdom and fair exhortation, and reason with them in the better way. Lo! thy Lord is Best Aware of him who strayeth from His way, and He is Best Aware of those who go aright. 125 And if you mete out punishment, then punish similarly as you were afflicted; and if you patiently endure, then indeed patience is better for the patiently enduring. 126 And be patient and your patience is not but by (the assistance of) Allah, and grieve not for them, and do not distress yourself at what they plan. 127 Indeed, Allah is with those who fear Him and those who are doers of good. 128
