It is He Who has endowed you with the faculties of hearing and sight and has given you hearts (to think). Scarcely do you give thanks. 78 And He it is Who spread you on the earth, and unto Him ye will be gathered. 79 It is He who gives life and causes death and it is He who alternates night and day. Will you not then understand? 80 Aye! they say the like of that which said the ancients. 81 They say, "When we die and become dust and bones, shall we then be raised up again? 82 "Verily, this we have been promised, we and our fathers before (us)! This is only the tales of the ancients!" 83 Say: "Whose is the earth and whosoever is therein? If you know!" 84 They will say, God's.' Say: 'Will you not then remember?' 85 Say: Who is the Lord of the seven heavens and the Lord of the mighty dominion? 86 They will say: "God." Say: "Then why do you not obey and fear Him?" 87 Say: Who is it in Whose hand is the kingdom of all things and Who gives succor, but against Him Succor is not given, if you do but know? 88 They will reply spontaneously, "It is God." Ask them, "Why has falsehood bewitched you?" 89 Nay, We have conveyed unto them the truth: and yet, behold, they are intent on lying [to themselves]! 90 Allah hath not chosen any son, nor is there any god along with Him; else would each god have assuredly championed that which he created, and some of them would assuredly have overcome others. Glorified be Allah above all that they allege. 91 The All Knowing, of every hidden and the visible – so Supremacy is to Him over their ascribing of partners (to Him). 92
