Say: "O my Lord! if Thou wilt show me (in my lifetime) that which they are warned against,- 93 then do not include me, my Lord, among these wrong-doing people." 94 Indeed, We are able to show you that which We promised them. 95 Repel evil with that which is better. We know that which they describe. 96 And submit, “My Lord! I seek Your refuge from the instigation of the devils.” 97 I seek your protection should they approach me." 98 (They shall persist in their deeds) until when death comes to anyone of them he will say: "My Lord, send me back to the world 99 so that I may do good works in the world I have left behind." Never! It is indeed but a meaningless word that he utters. A barrier shall stand behind such people till the Day they are raised up again. 100 There will be no kindred relations nor any opportunity to ask about others or seek their assistance after the trumpet has sounded. 101 And they whose weight [of righteousness] is heavy in the balance - it is they, they who will have attained to a happy state; 102 and those whose scales are light, those will be the ones who will have courted loss. They will abide in Hell. 103 The fire shall scorch their faces, and they therein shall be in severe affliction. 104 (It will be said): Were not My revelations recited unto you, and then ye used to deny them? 105 They will say: "O Lord, our misery overwhelmed us, so we remained a people astray. 106 Our Lord! Oh, bring us forth from hence! If we return (to evil) then indeed we shall be wrong-doers. 107 He shall say: Go away into it and speak not to Me; 108 Among My worshipers there were a party who said: "Lord, we believed. Forgive us and have mercy on us: You are the Best of the merciful." 109 Then ye took them mockingly, so that they caused you to forget remembrance of Me, and at them ye were wont to laugh. 110 [But,] behold, today I have rewarded them for their patience in adversity: verily, it is they, they who have achieved a triumph!" 111 Then Allah will ask them: "For how many years did you stay on earth?" 112 They will say: We tarried a day or part of a day, but ask those who keep account. 113 He will say, "You stayed not but a little - if only you had known. 114 "Did ye then think that We had created you in jest, and that ye would not be brought back to Us (for account)?" 115 Then, exalted be God, the true King, there is no deity except Him, the Lord of the Glorious Throne. 116 Whosoever calls upon another god, other than Allah, having no proof his reckoning will be with his Lord. The unbelievers shall never prosper. 117 So say: "O my Lord! grant Thou forgiveness and mercy for Thou art the Best of those who show mercy!" 118
