This life of the world is but a pastime and a game. Lo! the home of the Hereafter - that is Life, if they but knew. 64 When they embark in the ships they call upon Allah, consecrating their faith to Him. But when He rescues them and brings them to land, they suddenly begin to associate others with Allah in His Divinity 65 So that they become ingrate for that which We have vouchsafed unto them, and that they enjoy themselves; but presently they shall know. 66 Have they not seen that We have made (Makkah) a sanctuary secure, and that men are being snatched away from all around them? Then do they believe in Batil (falsehood - polytheism, idols and all deities other than Allah), and deny (become ingrate for) the Graces of Allah? 67 And who could be more wicked than he who attributes his own lying inventions to God, or gives the lie to the truth when it comes unto him [through revelation]? Is not hell the [proper] abode for all who [thus] deny the truth? 68 Those who struggle in Our cause, We will surely guide them to Our ways; and Allah is with those who do good. 69
