And certainly We conferred a favor on Musa and Haroun. 114 And We delivered them both and their people from the mighty distress. 115 And We succoured them so that they became overcomers. 116 And We gave them the clear Scripture 117 guided them to the right path, 118 And We kept their praise among the latter generations. 119 Peace be with Moses and Aaron. 120 Even so We recompense the good-doers; 121 They were two of Our believing servants. 122 Elias too was one of the Envoys; 123 Behold, he said to his people, "Will ye not fear (Allah)? 124 Do you call on Ba'lan (the idol Baal) and abandon the Best Creator, 125 who is your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?" 126 But they called him a liar, therefore they shall most surely be brought up. 127 Except the chosen creatures of God. 128 And We let it (the beautiful praise) remain upon him in the latter (generations), 129 "Peace be on Elijah and his people!" 130 Verily We! thus We recompense the well-doers. 131 Indeed, he was of Our believing servants. 132 Lot was also one of the messengers. 133 Behold, We delivered him and his adherents, all 134 except an old woman who was among those that stayed behind; 135 and We destroyed the rest. 136 And most surely you pass by them in the morning, 137 and at night, will you not understand? 138
