And indeed, warnings came to the people of Fir'aun (Pharaoh) [through Musa (Moses) and Harun (Aaron)]. 41 They denied Our signs, all of them, so We seized them with a seizure of one Exalted in Might and Perfect in Ability. 42 What, are your unbelievers better than those? Or have you an immunity in the Scrolls? 43 Or do they say: 'We are a gathering that will be victorious' 44 [Yet] the hosts [of those who deny the truth] shall be routed, and they shall turn their backs [in flight]! 45 Nay, but the Hour is their tryst, and the Hour is very calamitous and bitter. 46 Surely the guilty are in error and distress. 47 On the Day when they are dragged on their faces into the Fire, (it will be said to them): 'Taste the touch of the Scorching' 48 Indeed, We have created all things according to a measure. 49 And Our command is but one, like a glance of the eye. 50 We did indeed destroy many like you. Is there, then, any who will heed? 51 All that they do is noted in (their) Books (of Deeds): 52 every action, small or great, is noted down. 53 Lo! the righteous will dwell among gardens and rivers, 54 Firmly established in the favour of a Mighty King. 55
