The Cheaters (Al-Mutaffifeen)
36 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Spider (Al-Ankaboot) before The Heifer (Al-Baqarah)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
Woe to those who give less [than due], 1 those who demand a full measure from others 2 but when they give by measurement or weight to others, they give them less. 3 Do not these think that they shall be raised again 4 For a tremendous Day - 5 The Day when (all) mankind will stand before the Lord of the 'Alamin (mankind, jinns and all that exists)? 6 Nay! Surely the record of the wicked is (preserved) in Sijjin. 7 And what do you know, how (wretched) the Sijjeen is! 8 it is a written record. 9 Ruin is for the deniers on that day! 10 Who deny the Day of Recompense. 11 And none belieth it save each trespasser, sinner. 12 When our signs are recited to him, he says, 'Fairy-tales of the ancients!' 13 Not at all but rather their earnings have heaped rust upon their hearts. 14 No indeed; but upon that day they shall be veiled from their Lord, 15 and then, behold, they shall enter the blazing fire 16 and be told: "This is the [very thing] to which you were wont to give the lie!" 17 No! Indeed, the record of the righteous is in 'illiyyun. 18 and what will make you understand what the 'Illiyyin is? -- 19 The record is a sealed text. 20 The ones nearest to God will bring it to public. 21 The virtuous will live in bliss, 22 On couches, gazing, 23 Thou wilt know in their faces the radiance of delight. 24 They will be given to drink pure sealed wine. 25 The seal thereof will be Musk: And for this let those aspire, who have aspirations: 26 a wine whose mixture is Tasnim, 27 The spring from which drink the ones close to Allah. 28 Verily those who have sinned were wont at those who had believed to laugh, 29 and whenever they pass by them, they wink at one another [derisively]; 30 And whilst returning to their homes, they used to return rejoicing. 31 On seeing the believers, they would say, "These people have gone astray". 32 (they said so although) they had not been appointed watchers over them. 33 But on the Day [of Judgment,] they who had attained to faith will [be able to] laugh at the [erstwhile] deniers of the truth: 34 On adorned couches, observing. 35 Surely the disbelievers are rewarded as they did. 36
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.

Notes and Instructions
When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
