The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
۞ Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 Who created and proportioned 2 Who determined and guided them, 3 And Who brings out the pasturage, 4 Then reduces them to rusty rubbish. 5 We shall make you recite and then you will not forget, 6 save what God may will [thee to forget] - for, verily, He [alone] knows all that is open to [man's] perception as well as all that is hidden [from it] 7 And We shall make easy for you (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) the easy way (i.e. the doing of righteous deeds). 8 Therefor remind (men), for of use is the reminder. 9 The admonition will be received by those who fear (Allah): 10 but aloof from it will remain that most hapless wretch 11 Who will enter the Great Fire, 12 Then he will neither die in it, nor live. 13 But those will prosper who purify themselves, 14 And mentions the name of his Lord and prays. 15 Nay! you prefer the life of this world, 16 although the life to come is better and more enduring. 17 And this is in the Books of the earliest (Revelation),- 18 The scriptures of Abraham and Moses. 19
