And indeed We settled the Children of Israel in an honourable dwelling place (Sham and Misr), and provided them with good things, and they differed not until the knowledge came to them. Verily, Allah will judge between them on the Day of Resurrection in that in which they used to differ. 93 So, if thou art in doubt regarding what We have sent down to thee, ask those who recite the Book before thee. The truth has come to thee from thy Lord; so be not of the doubters, 94 And never be of those who denied the signs of Allah, for you will then be of the losers. 95 Truly! Those, against whom the Word (Wrath) of your Lord has been justified, will not believe. 96 Even if every Sign was brought unto them,- until they see (for themselves) the penalty grievous. 97 If only there had been a community (of all those that were destroyed of old) that believed and profited by its belief as did the folk of Jonah! When they believed We drew off from them the torment of disgrace in the life of the world and gave them comfort for a while. 98 Had your Lord pleased, all the people on earth would have believed in Him, without exception. So will you compel people to become believers? 99 It is not for any soul to believe save by the permission of Allah. He hath set uncleanness upon those who have no sense. 100 Say: Behold what is in the heavens and the earth! But revelations and warnings avail not folk who will not believe. 101 What can they expect other than the kind of (punishment that befell the disbelieving people) who had gone before them? (Muhammad), tell them, "Wait and I too will be waiting with you." 102 Then (in the end) We save Our Messengers and those who believe! Thus it is incumbent upon Us to save the believers. 103
