Hizb 46

Jonah too was one of the Envoys; 139 When he left towards the laden ship. 140 And then drew lots and was of those rejected; 141 Then the fish swallowed him, while he was blameworthy. 142 Had he not been of them who glorify Allah, 143 he would certainly have remained inside the fish till the Day of Resurrection. 144 ۞ But We threw him on a wide bare tract of land while he was ill; 145 And We caused to grow over him a gourd vine. 146 and We sent him forth to a nation of a hundred thousand or more, 147 and they believed in him: so We let them live in ease for a while. 148 Now ask them their opinion: Is it that thy Lord has (only) daughters, and they have sons?- 149 Or did We create the angels females while they were witnesses? 150 It is only because of their false invention that they say, 151 " Allah has begotten," and indeed, they are liars. 152 Has He chosen daughters above sons? 153 What is the matter with you? How do you form your judgement? 154 Will you not, then, bethink yourselves? 155 Or have you, perchance, a clear evidence [for your assertions]? 156 Bring your book if what you say is true. 157 They claim that He has kinship with the jinn, yet the jinn themselves know that they will be produced before Him [for judgement]. 158 God is too glorious for what they ascribe to Him 159 Not (so do) the Servants of Allah, sincere and devoted. 160 But as for you, and that you worship, 161 You cannot make anyone rebel against Him. 162 except those who are doomed to enter hell. 163 And the angels say, “Each one of us has an appointed known position.” 164 We are surely those who are arranged in ranks. 165 Lo! we, even we are they who hymn His praise 166 They used to say: 167 "If we had a reminder as had the men of old (before the coming of Prophet Muhammad SAW as a Messenger of Allah). 168 We would have been the chosen servants of Allah." 169 But (now) they disbelieve in it, so they will come to know. 170 We decreed that Our Messenger servants 171 That verily they! they shall be made triumphant. 172 and that it is Our host that would certainly triumph. 173 So withdraw from them (O Muhammad) awhile, 174 And see them thou; they themselves shall presently see. 175 Do they seek to hasten on Our Torment? 176 When it comes down on their plains, it will be an evil dawn for those who had been warned. 177 So turn away from them for a while. 178 And see, for they are going to see. 179 Exalted be your Lord, the Lord of Glory, above what they attribute to Him, 180 So peace be on the messengers, 181 And all praise is due to Allah, the Lord of the worlds. 182
Almighty Allah's Truth.
End of Surah: The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat). Sent down in Mecca after Animals (Al-An 'aam) before Luqmaan (Luqmaan)
