Hizb 38
< random >
The nation of Noah, belied their Messengers. 105 When their brother Noah said unto them: Will ye not ward off (evil)? 106 Verily I am unto you an apostle trusted. 107 Have fear of God and obey me. 108 I ask no payment from you for my preaching. The Lord of the Universe will give me my reward. 109 Hence, remain conscious of God, and pay heed unto me!" 110 ۞ They said: "Shall we believe in you, when the meanest (of the people) follow you?" 111 He said: 'I have no knowledge of what they have done. 112 If only you would realize, their account is with my Lord. 113 It is not for me to repel those who choose to believe. 114 I am only a Prophet. 115 They said: "O Noah! If you do not desist, you will certainly become one of the accursed." 116 He said: my Lord! verily my people have belied me. 117 So open between me and them an opening, and save me and the believers who are with me' 118 We saved him and those who were with him in a fully laden Ark, 119 Then We drowned the rest afterwards 120 Lo! herein is indeed a portent, yet most of them are not believers. 121 surely your Lord is the Mighty One, the Merciful. 122
