۞ O men, it is you who stand in need of God. As for God, He is above all need, worthy of praise. 15 If He so pleased, He could blot you out and bring in a New Creation. 16 nor is this difficult for God. 17 No burden-bearer shall bear another's burden, and if some over-laden soul should call out for someone else to carry his load, not the least portion of it will be borne for him, even though he were a near relative. You can only warn those who fear their Lord in the unseen, and pray regularly. Anyone who purifies himself will benefit greatly from doing so. To God all shall return. 18 And the blind and the sighted are not equal! 19 Nor are the depths of Darkness and the Light; 20 nor cool shade and torrid heat; 21 Equal are not the living and the dead. Verily God makes those He will to listen; but you cannot make those hear who are in their graves. 22 Thou art no other than a warner. 23 And O dear Prophet (Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), We have indeed sent you with the Truth, giving glad tidings and heralding warnings; and there was a Herald of Warning in every group. 24 And if they deny thee, those before them also denied. Their messengers came unto them with clear proofs (of Allah's Sovereignty), and with the Psalms and the Scripture giving light. 25 Then I took hold of those who disbelieved, and how terrible was My denial (punishment)! 26
