Nay, verily: By the Moon, 32 By the night when it withdraweth. 33 By the morning when it brighteneth. 34 surely it is one of the greatest things 35 as a warner to mortals. 36 To any of you that chooses to press forward, or to follow behind;- 37 Every soul is held in pledge against its own deeds, 38 Except those of the right hand 39 (They will be) in Gardens (of Delight): they will question each other, 40 About the criminals, 41 'What thrusted you into Sakar?' 42 They will reply: 'We were not among those who prayed 43 and neither did we feed the needy; 44 We plunged in with the plungers 45 and we gave the lie to the Day of Judgement 46 until death approached us". 47 Then there will not profit them intercesion of the interceders. 48 Then what is wrong with them that they turn away from admonition, 49 like frightened donkeys 50 fleeing -- before a lion? 51 Nay; every one of them desires that he may be given pages spread out; 52 No indeed; the truth is that they have no fear of the Hereafter. 53 Nay, verily, this is an admonition 54 So whosoever will may heed. 55 No one will seek guidance unless God wills it. He alone is worthy of being feared and He is the Source of Forgiveness. 56
