۞ We revealed to Moses: "Set forth with My servants by night for you will be pursued." 52 So Firon sent heralds into the cities; 53 'These' they said, 'are a small band, 54 And indeed, they are enraging us, 55 And most surely we are a vigilant multitude. 56 Thus did We take them away from gardens and watersprings, 57 Treasures, and every kind of honourable position; 58 Even so. And We caused the Children of Isra'il to inherit them. 59 But they pursued them at sunrise. 60 and, when the two hosts sighted each other, the companions of Moses said, 'We are overtaken!' 61 Moses replied, "No, My Lord is with me, and He will guide me." 62 Then We inspired to Moses, "Strike with your staff the sea," and it parted, and each portion was like a great towering mountain. 63 And We brought the others close to that place. 64 And We saved Musa (Moses) and all those with him. 65 And We drowned the others. 66 Surely in that there is a sign; yet most of them do not believe: 67 truly, your Lord is the Mighty One, the Merciful. 68
